First Touch Soccer Academy (FTSA) are happy to announce its 2025 Junior Pre Season Camp. This camp is THE perfect way for the serious male and female youth soccer player to prepare for their travel / club season. This camp is open to all players (beginner to serious) and players will be grouped by ability.
In addition, players who are looking to experience the game at a more beginner level are welcomed, and will be grouped with players of the same level. The camps will follow FTSA training philosophy in that groups will be ability appropriate, will guarantee a 1:10 coach to player ratio, and only experienced, high level coaches employed to lead groups. For more information on our philosophy please visit our 'camp overview' page. Our Pre Season Training Camp is our longest running camp and provides a balance between structured sessions and scrimmages. This camp sold out in 2024 and will be capped at 150 players for the 2025 season.

Camp Goals:
'My goal for this camp is to provide players of all abilities a fun, yet challenging, week of supplemental training. Groups of players will be devised by experience and ability to ensure the appropriate level of instruction for all players involved. The pre season camp was our first ever camp and it has grown in popularity over the years. I will pool together coaches from different clubs and programs, to provide diverse and unique training and insight for the players. The camp will be club neutral and player orientated.' | | - Fundamental technical development - ball manipulation, passing and receiving, shooting and finishing (age and ability appropriate) - 1v1 attacking and defending - Small sided games - Small group tactics (2v1, 2v2, 3v2, 3v3) - Scrimmages (7v7 / 9v9) - Spatial awareness
Testimonial: "A great camp for kids AND parents. For kids, the instruction and facilities were equal to the best I have seen. My son came home excited (and exhausted) every day. For parents, the best communication of any soccer program we have participated in, before camp started and every day during and/or after camp. Looking forward to next Summer!’ -Mark Salamon (Dad of Tomer Salamon, 2005)
'Best soccer camp my boys been to, period! I can see the immediate improvement to their first touch, spatial awareness, and the way they carry the ball. We will definitely do this camp again next year.' - Alan Biron (Dad of 2009 player) |
